The Isles Golf Club – Pass Christian MS
This Pass Christian golf club was designed by Tom Bendelow in 1914, and is one of the few historic places left in Pass Christian, MS. This golf club was created to entertain and engage renowned guests, including President Woodrow Wilson.
This is the 2nd oldest course on the Mississippi Gulf Coast that offers various levels of challenges to both experienced and novice golfers. Adorned with small greens and tree lined fairways, this golf course has resumed its original form and design after hurricane Katrina ripped through it in 2004. What makes it even more special is that it is the only golf course on the gulf coast to recover from the catastrophe and regain its original historic form.
Facilities
Located in the Timber Ridge neighborhood within the vicinity of the Bay of Louis, the Pass Christian golf club offers a wide range of facilities to its guests. Besides golfing and related services, the course houses a pro shop. You can buy the best golf clothing, accessories and merchandise in this pro shop. All the items sold here are branded and high quality. Besides merchandise and goods, guests can come here to sign up for golf lessons. There are assistants in the shop who will help you rent golf carts, complete the registration process and sign up for club storage.
The golf club has plenty of places for players to practice putting. The putting and chipping zones are open to those who wish to practice their game. There is a driving net on the course and a professional staff to assist the players and conduct classes. After a tiring game of golf, anyone who wishes can get refreshing and nourishing drinks and nutritious food at Mulligan’s Grill. This restaurant is open to the public too.
