Diamondhead Golf and Tennis
The golf course is the design of Earl Stone and John Lefoy and provides a challenge to players of all abilities. Encompassing the highest standards found in the Gulf Coast area for golfing, the course offers fairways lined with trees to maintain and ensure a challenge. Additionally, gently rolling hills, bunkers and water all add to the fun, providing a variety of shots to golfers of all levels.
Golf specials can be found here which include greens fees, cart fees and tax. Tee time is required to use this Monday through Thursday special. Additionally, there is a Military Discount for active duty golfers. Other specials are for non-residents and sports memberships, which are open to the public.
For those looking to learn golf or improve their game, instruction is offered by Hoppy Smith (PGA, GSEB), Chris Altese (PGA), Jack O’Neill (PGA), and Gregg Altese. As little as a half hour or as much as ten hours of instruction can be scheduled. Beginners, juniors and families all have special pricing packages.
The two courses that provide the fun at Diamondhead Golf & Tennis Club are the Pine and the Cardinal. Rated at 72.6, the Pine contains strategically placed bunkers and water that adds a challenge to many of the shots. On the other hand, the Cardinal is also rated at 72.6 but contains a rolling terrain that is somewhat wooded as well as especially long sand bunkers. All levels and abilities can enjoy these courses and the challenges they provide.
A site for tournaments, the club offers a well stocked Pro Shop and knowledgeable staff. The best of Biloxi golf awaits the visitor to the Diamondhead Golf & Tennis Club.
