Shearwater Pottery

Jimmy-HandsShearwater Pottery is a small family-owned pottery founded in 1928 by Peter Anderson with the support of his parents, George and Annette Anderson. Peter was Shearwater’s master potter while his brothers Walter Inglis Anderson and James McConnell Anderson decorated and designed figurines. Though the original brothers are now deceased, the pottery continues as a family affair, producing exceptional high-grade pieces of art that are both great for functional use as well as decorative use. Each piece is individual and unique in nature…art pottery, utilitarian ware, figurines, decorative tiles, and other ceramic objects are just a few of the fabulous pieces made. images

Testimonials

“As a first time home buyer, I didn’t really know of what to expect. After meeting with Amanda and talking with her the first time, I felt comfortable enough to ask lots of questions and she was very patient with me. As we closed on our house today, I cannot be any happier that Amanda’s team is the one that helped me along the way. She has gone above and beyond my expectations. Thank you to your team for a great job!”
