Meet our agent, Stacey Butera

Getting to know Stacey:
1) What made you decide to get your Real Estate license?
My youngest child left to go to Mississippi State, so with both my children in college I felt it was a good time to get back into Sales. I enjoy working with people. I’m a relationship person, so I look forward to interacting with lots of different people to help them with their real estate needs.
2) What is something unique about you that makes you fun?
I talk a lot! Like, a lot!! I love words and nuances of conversation. I also read – a lot. It is an uncomfortable feeling for me to not have a book available. Also, in addition to working as a Realtor, I’m an 8th grade English teacher. The fact that I actually like to be around 13-year-olds trying to get them to enjoy reading certainly makes me unique!
3) What do you like best about living on the MS Gulf Coast?
That’s easy – the people and the pace! I love the friendly and outgoing people of the Gulf Coast. From Mardi Gras to neighborhood gatherings to boating with family, the pace and lifestyle of the MS Gulf Coast makes it a perfect fit for me!

Stacey Butera comes to us with years of experience in caring for customers and helping people achieve their goals.  Home is an incredibly important concept to Stacey as she believes creating a haven where families can come together and create memories is one of life’s most treasured pursuits.   Before she became a teacher 10 years ago, Stacey worked for many years in computer software sales in the gaming industry where she assisted with enterprise software decisions of major gaming corporations. Stacey has been working as a realtor since 2020.

Stacey is married to her best friend, Pete, and they have two children, Jacob and Abby.  Jacob has graduated from Mississippi State University and has moved to post-graduate work at the University of Tennessee Space Institute. Abby is attending Mississippi State in the pre-veterinary program.  Stacey moved to the MS Gulf Coast as a child when her family relocated from the suburbs of Atlanta, GA to Diamondhead, MS.  Stacey has called Biloxi her home for the past 24 years and loves being a part of the community.  Stacey loves to read and is a recreational tennis player. Her favorite times, though, are out on the boat with her family or entertaining friends in her Biloxi home.

Stacey believes that making connections with people is the best way to help them realize their objectives.  She is passionate about getting to know people to better understand their aspirations and challenges so she can help them reach their goals.

Having worked with Stacey in gaming and having known her going on twenty years, if I lived in the area there is no one I would trust more with the biggest purchase in my life than Stacey. She’ll put your needs first and foremost which will guarantee the best match possible. A kinder, more genuine person you will not meet, either. She’ll make even the most stressful time enjoyable!

Testimonials

After browsing through houses for a few weeks on Zillow, Trulia, Movado, etc. I was feeling so overwhelmed and then God sent an angel! Mary called me out of the blue and I didn’t know what to do but accept her assistance. I am so glad I did! She has made the hassle of house searching and buying such a memorable and enjoyable experience. Mary has been upfront with us about each house we’ve looked at, giving us the positives and negatives. Mary wasn’t just interested in selling us a house. S…
