    Meet our agent, Stacey Butera

    Getting to know Stacey:
    1) What made you decide to get your Real Estate license?
My youngest child left to go to Mississippi State, so with both my children in college I felt it was a good time to get back into Sales. I enjoy working with people. I’m a relationship person, so I look forward to interacting with lots of different people to help them with their real estate needs.
    2) What is something unique about you that makes you fun?
I talk a lot! Like, a lot!! I love words and nuances of conversation. I also read – a lot. It is an uncomfortable feeling for me to not have a book available. Also, in addition to working as a Realtor, I’m an 8th grade English teacher. The fact that I actually like to be around 13-year-olds trying to get them to enjoy reading certainly makes me unique!
    3) What do you like best about living on the MS Gulf Coast?
That’s easy – the people and the pace! I love the friendly and outgoing people of the Gulf Coast. From Mardi Gras to neighborhood gatherings to boating with family, the pace and lifestyle of the MS Gulf Coast makes it a perfect fit for me!

Stacey Butera is our newest agent, but she comes to us with years of experience in caring for customers and helping people achieve their goals. For most of the day, Stacey is an 8th-grade teacher, but she works tirelessly the rest of the time to help clients buy or sell their next home. Home is an incredibly important concept to Stacey as she believes creating a haven where families can come together and create memories is one of life’s most treasured pursuits. Before she became a teacher 8 years ago, Stacey worked for many years in computer software sales in the gaming industry where she assisted with enterprise software decisions of major gaming corporations.

Stacey is married to her best friend, Pete, and they have two children, Jacob and Abby, both of whom are attending Mississippi State University.

Stacey moved to the MS Gulf Coast as a child when her family relocated from the suburbs of Atlanta, GA to Diamondhead, MS. Stacey has called Biloxi her home for the past 23 years and loves being a part of the community. Stacey loves to read and is an avid tennis player. Her favorite times, though, are out on the boat with her family or entertaining friends in her Biloxi home.

Stacey believes that making connections with people is the best way to help them realize their objectives. Whether it be a student attempting to navigate the nuances of a classic novel or a couple trying to find their first home, Stacey is passionate about getting to know people to better understand their aspirations and challenges so she can help them reach their goals.

Having worked with Stacey in gaming and having known her going on twenty years, if I lived in the area there is no one I would trust more with the biggest purchase in my life than Stacey. She’ll put your needs first and foremost which will guarantee the best match possible. A kinder, more genuine person you will not meet, either. She’ll make even the most stressful time enjoyable!

“The best decision I made was choosing Amanda Hendry and her team as my Realtor for my first time buying a home. They walked me through every step and worked with my mortgage loan officer and with the seller to make sure everything was in order and done in timely manner. My first time buying a home was a journey and not an easy one and Amanda went above and beyond to get me in the home of my dreams. She showed me probably every house on the market in the locations I was searching for several mon…
