Prior to her career in real estate, Aubry dedicated herself to early childhood education. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Portland State University, she spent ten years teaching in a variety of early childhood development programs in Portland and New Orleans. In 2013, she relocated from Portland, OR to New Orleans, just 6 months after her first visit to New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where she immediately felt at home.
In 2018, an opportunity arose for Aubry to work as a Transaction Coordinator/Office Manager with Witry Collective, a local brokerage in New Orleans. This role sparked her enthusiasm for real estate and served as a springboard to become a licensed Realtor® in Louisiana in 2021. Now licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi, Aubry leverages her extensive experience from managing multiple offices and coordinating transactions, combined with her diverse skill set from her background in education and customer service to go above and beyond for her clients.
Recently, Aubry undertook the renovation of a multi-family home in New Orleans and thoroughly enjoyed the process. This experience deepened her appreciation for the city’s unique architectural charm and enhanced her understanding of home renovation, interior design and investment properties.
Currently residing between New Orleans and Ocean Springs, MS. Aubry is an outdoor and wildlife enthusiast, spending her free time camping, hiking, fishing, birding and visiting National Parks. She is also a lover of costuming and Mardi Gras. Aubry is proud to be a member of The Krewe of Dolly, a charitable organization that supports literacy and provides free books to every child from birth to age five by bringing Dolly Parton’s, Dolly’s Imagination Library to the New Orleans area. When not exploring the great outdoors or parading down the streets of New Orleans in a big blonde wig with the Krewe of Dolly, you can find Aubry curled up at home with a good book with her two rescue cats, Marvin and Otis and her bearded dragon, Gladys, or volunteering with an animal rescue.
Aubry’s local expertise, resourcefulness, communication, organization, and multitasking abilities and personal touch make her an effective and trusted Realtor® at Coastal Realty Group, where she is committed to helping her clients find their ideal homes in this beautiful and dynamic region.
1. What made you decide to get your Real Estate License? I decided to get my real estate license after my positive experiences working as a Transaction Coordinator/Office Manager at a local boutique brokerage in New Orleans. The transition allowed me to combine my administrative and managerial skills with my passion for helping others during one of life’s major events.
2. Tell us something unique about you that makes you fun? I am passionate about the outdoors and love exploring nature through camping, hiking, canoeing, fishing and birding. I have a strong love for the National Parks, including a (sometimes nerdy) enthusiasm for tracking my visits with my national park passport, along with collecting posters or postcards from each park I visit.
3. What do you like best about living on the Mississippi Coast? I love the natural beauty and wildlife of the Gulf Coast as well as the food, especially seafood! I LOVE SEAFOOD. And of course, the proximity to New Orleans.
