Amity was born and raised on the Gulf Coast. After graduating from Long Beach High School, she attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned a Bachelor in Elementary Education. Shortly after graduating, she began working in the Hancock County Schools. She also attended William Carey University on the Gulf Coast to earn her Masters in Elementary Education. After 21 years of teaching, she made the move into the real estate industry to fulfill her dream to become a realtor. She loves working with clients to assist them with all of the details with listing and buying a home.

As a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast, Amity holds a deep affection for this place, enjoying activities like fishing, boating, and savoring various seafood delicacies. She resides in Hancock County with her husband Josh and two daughters, where they recently completed the construction of their new home.
