Tyler Barton

Tyler's journey began in Gulfport, Mississippi, where he was born and raised. He completed his high school education at St. Patrick Catholic High School in Biloxi, Mississippi, where he made history by contributing to the school's inaugural Soccer State Championship victory and securing a second championship in his senior year.
Tyler's academic path then led him to MGCCC (Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College) to continue his soccer career before finding his way to Oxford, Mississippi, where he pursued higher education at the University of Mississippi.
Post-college life took him on a unique professional journey. Initially, he became a licensed real estate agent in Oxford, but this endeavor was short-lived due to the unforeseen challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. During these trying times, Tyler decided to return to his hometown and was offered an opportunity in the insurance industry. He joined State Farm as an Account Manager, later transitioning to a role as a claims adjuster for both State Farm and Allstate.
In February 2023, Tyler made a significant decision to establish his own Goosehead Insurance Agency in Gulfport, which has since thrived. Not one to rest on his laurels, he has now made the choice to re-enter the real estate sector alongside his thriving insurance agency. His motivation stems from a deep-seated passion for assisting people and serving his community, making him a dedicated and valuable asset to those he works with.
