Ben was born in Hattiesburg, but grew up in Wiggins, MS. After graduation from the University of Southern Mississippi, he started a career in education that allowed him to teach and coach in multiple areas of Mississippi and Arkansas over the last 13 years. He is an avid outdoorsman, loves live music, and a big fan of great food. His wife, Dasha, is a physician for Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS. The couple resides on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where they enjoy all the comforts that this area has to offer.
