Alison McGranahan
Here to help you find your home, not just a home.
Alison grew up in Southern California where she met her husband Keith. It was her husband's job with the military that brought them to Mississippi in 2012, had it not been for this Alison would have never known the treasures that awaited her in Mississippi. Don't let the fact that Alison is a California transplant turn you off. She has assimilated to the Mississippi lifestyle as if she was born and raised here. The McGranahan's have two extremely active children Ethen(13) and Kelsey(10) that are both involved in travel sports. Ethen is a utility player for his travel baseball team and the catcher for his middle school baseball team. Kelsey is a fearless goalie for the Gulf Coast United soccer club. When Alison's family is not attending a sporting event you can find them outdoors looking for new adventures that the Gulf Coast has to offer. Most often found fishing, kayaking, or boating with friends. Alison also has a great love for all the natural beauty that Mississippi has to offer and enjoys hiking through the national parks. You will often hear Alison joke that one of her favorite parts about Mississippi is all of the trees and wildlife. Growing up in California the landscape was manicured and our wildlife was pampered, it is absolutely amazing to see everything so beautiful and lush here on the coast.
What made you decide to get into real estate?
I've always been the type of person that has wanted to help people. I have a background in the durable medical equipment field and when I transitioned out of this I still had that instinctual urge to provide help for people. Providing guidance for someone through one of their most important life decisions is a niche that I naturally fit into.
Tell us something unique about you that makes you fun?
I've been told I have an infectious personality, if you're in a less than perfect mood I'm the one you want to be around to bring you up. Whether it be my goofy jokes or funny shenanigans that will get into there's always some adventure to be had. Even a simple trip to the grocery store can become a Julia child's cooking lesson if you lean your heart into it.
Would you like best about living in Mississippi?
